Source of Inspiration

          Navsari Kelvani Mandal was founded in 1935 by Shree Thakorbhai Manibhai Desai and Shree Lalbhai Dahyabhai Naik and many others.The mandal works on principles and values of Mahatma Gandhi and gives good service in the field of education.

     Shree Thakorbhai Desai, the born farmer of Vegam,Navsari, was a bright student in Gujarat Vidyapith. He was also favourite of Kakasaheb Kalelkar. Shree Desai was a profoud thinker and writer. He was "Sahkar Mantri" in the cabinate of Shree Hitendrabhai Desai. Shree Thakorbhai led a very simple and principled life and set a very good example in public life. He was a decicated follower of Mahatma Gandhi.

    Shree Lalbhai Naik also was a founder trusty of Navsari Kelvani Mandal. He was a brave freedom fighter and a great social worker. He worked sincerely for people suffering from leprosy. He fought bravely against discrimination. He led his whole life on the path paved by Mahatma Gandhi and spread his thoughts among people by his humble and honest social services.
